Short foundational courses and Advanced workshops
Oxy-Fuel brazing. Fillet or Lug
A short two day course to help get you going with oxy-fuel brazing. I have both
oxy-acetylene and oxy-propane for you to practice with. $600 fillet brazing, $750 lug brazing
(silver brazing material is very expensive as of late.)
TIG-welding primer
A short two day course to familiarize you with TIG welding. Includes theory, discussions of
equipment and materials, demonstrations and plenty of practice on thin wall steel tubing.

Powder-coating course
Learn to powder-coat! You will prepare a frame (cleaning, media blasting, steel preparation
and masking. Then you will apply a one coat powder and cure. One short day $350
More extensive education is available.
Wet Painting course
Traditional solvent and waterborne painting in my booth here at the Bohemian shop. If all you need is a durable coating you should take the powder coating course. If you want to learn the art of painting bike frames properly (This is a no rattlecan zone) then this is for you. 3 days. $1500 dollars, materials included.

Steel Framebuilding 202
Have you built frames before, attended framebuilding classes already but want to improve your skills? This 15-day workshop is for experienced hobbyists or professional builders. The cost is $7,000 per student. Please email for scheduling along with a personalized syllabus for your needs. Advanced notice required.
Steel Framebuilding 303
So you want to learn the whole thing? This 6-week training includes multiple techniques and lots of practice. Learn basic paint work and advanced techniques along with a business review. Ongoing support is provided. $15,000.00 per student. Advanced notice required. Email for more details.
Steel Tandem Framebuilding
If you are going to ride together, why not build together? You and your partner will work together for 11 days to build a steel tandem. This tandem workshop is $9,000 per couple. 2 students are required for this workshop to build 1 tandem frame. Advanced notice required. Email for more details.
